Well, although there's no spring in my country, I'll assume the Top Ten Tuesday of this week is about books I will read during 20 March to 20 June. So, this is it:
From my Historical Fiction piles:
March
I'm now in the middle of The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullogh, which I think will only last till end of March.
April
Gadis Kretek by Ratih Kumala
This is a historical fiction from an Indonesian writer, telling a history of "kretek" cigarettes business in Indonesia long time ago and the stories of people who lived in that era.
The Court of the Lion by Eleanor Cooney & Daniel Altiery
A historical fiction of Tang Dynasty in China. There are 2 series of trilogy but I think I'll read the first book first
Sashenka by Simon Montefiore
From Indonesia, to China, next I'll be heading to Russia with this historical fiction..
May
Juliet by Anne Fortier
Quite a "sexy" book, hopefully worth reading.
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
I don't know when will the movies be played in my country, hopefully not before I finish with the book.
From my Classics piles:
March
Until the end of March, I'll be still struggling with L'Assommoir of Emile Zola.
April
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
May
Nobody's Boy by Hector Malot
June
I will read these two books on A Victorian Celebration project:
Martin Chuzzlewit by Charles Dickens
Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
What about you? What's in your TBR list this spring? If you'd like to join this blog hop, just stop by at broke and bookish' blog.

ReplyDeleteHai, Fanda!
