2013 Projects/Events

This is the projection of what I’ll be doing in my bookish life during 2013. I put all projects/events/challenges that I’ll be hosting and participating. If you find many books appear in more than one project/event/challenge, it’s because I’ve limited myself to join only events/challenges that can serve one another. I will try to read them on schedule, but I may change/substitute the books and/or schedule, and the list may be extended throughout the year.

This serves as the master page for all my projects/events/challenges both in this blog AND Fanda Classiclit blog.

Occasional Events

DONE!  Hotter Potter Reading Event (Jan – Jul)

I’ve read all of the series so long ago, and think it’s good to give Harry Potter another look after I’ve been delving into classics and literary fictions. This event is hosted by Melisa.

DONE!  Celebrating Dickens (Feb)

I hosted this event to celebrate Charles Dickens’ 201st anniversary. Please sign up here if you’d like to join. I have two books I’ll read plus Little Dorrit miniseries adaptation to watch.

As this event will be held on February, I joined it as I’ll be reading Dickens. Rachel will host this.

- Little Dorrit – Charles Dickens

For this reading event hosted by o (Delaisse), we will read classics from French authors. I'd pick:

- Candide - Voltaire

On March we would read books from Modernist era authors, Allie from A Literary Odyssey would host this. Unfortunately, I only have one book suits the theme in my reading schedule:

- Mrs. Dalloway - Virginia Wonlf

DONE! Zoladdiction  (Apr)

I’m hosting an event together with o (Delaisse), dedicating to Emile Zola, an author we both love. I’ll be reading two Zola I’ve got in my TBR:
